I have only worn a few times to road & trail run. It does not wick moisture away from lining. I remain wet & cold. When I take jacket off, lining has visible beads of sweat all over.

These jackets are great. I can wear mine running or out to dinner with a pair of jeans. I always get compliments. This past weekend I was at the Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival and all the knitters and spinners wanted to feel the fabric and find out where they could get one!

I bought this jacket in the blue color admittedly to 'match my bike', but I've found that this jacket has as much presence off the bike as it does on. My first use of it was for a ride in 40F temps and I was warm but not sweaty and the wind was sufficiently blocked. Since then, this jacket has seen dog walks in the rain, dinners out with friends, short day hikes and much bike commuting. It nicely goes from the bike to the store to the office and after all this abuse, still looks brand spankin' new!

As for fit, I find the arms a tad long, but I have the same situation with all my Ibex items as I have short arms for a M sized woman. Otherwise, my medium fits me as classically as all my other Ibex medium tops.

The XL Pingo layers perfectly over a couple of L tops like a Norgie crew and full zip Switchback. (Generally I'm an L in all Ibex) The sleeves are long enough that on the bike my wrists stay covered, even in the drops. The slightly long rear hem keeps my low back covered. The hem skims my generous hips perfectly, and the front hem is short enough to keep the front of the jacket from "bellying out."

The only drawback to my nice new Pingo is that it arrived incredibly dirty, with a hefty patina of dust, gold glitter, and white cat hair. I'm guessing it was a Christmas present that sat on a shelf a while before it was returned to Ibex. That's ok, I just gave it the loving home it deserves!

By far this is my most favorite item that ibex makes! I use it every day that I am skiing, every time I'm at a bonfire, and whenever it's cold enough for use. Sometimes I take it off to sleep, but only on special occasions.
Maybe someday I'll get the jacket in the wash....but only when it starts to stink.
The burnt orange color makes it easy for my friends to find me in the woods too. A bonus for when I fall in a big tree hole.
