I don't know how these pants do it, keeping me warm at night and cool in the day when temperatures rise. They must be magic.

I have found them to be quite durable "Mountain Man Joe" you must be awfully hard on gear. i run around with a troop of boys sscouts every weekend, and these go with me. i have had no problems with durability.

The woolies top and bottoms were my first set of wool undergarments and they are nothing short of amazing! The perform all the normal functions of a base layer exceptionally well but they don't stink. They hold their structure well and haven proven to be quite durable.

If pants are not enough to keep me warm Woolies bottoms are what I turn to first. I've had a pair or two in my drawers since 2002.
I took advantage of their lightweight flexibility while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and major sections of the Continental Divide Trail. Warm when wet, compact and light, they met a lot of requirements.

requested woolies for xmas and was happy someone listened. they are light, warm, comfortable as advertised, but much to my dismay they have no fly! not much fun if you wear bibs.

I have a lot of days on a pair of these. Full time ski patrol in northern Vermont, and a lot of work and recreation. It is the first thing I want to put on. They wear well, are lightweight and comfortable in a broad range of temperatures. I have most all kinds of underwear made, Patagonia, Under Armor, Roffe, Hind, EMS and Duofold. Ibex is my first and usually only choice.

I bought a pair of these about a year ago and while I will agree with most reviewers that they are exceptionally comfortable, warm and fit well they are also very fragile and easily torn.

The third time I put them on I was simply re-adjusting them slightly and my thumb ripped right through the fabric! Then they snagged on something inside my pants a month later and ripped again. Then I started noticing them getting runs like in panty-hose. At this point I have 3 holes and 2 runs in them!

I still use them because of how breathable and comfortable they are but I don't plan on buying another pair because I simply can't afford spending big bucks on long underwear that rips so easily.

I suspect this is because the fabric is milled so thin in order to be softer. I think if these were more durable they would be the ideal long underwear but until that happens I have to recommend people buy something more durable instead.

I adore most of my ibexwear but this seems to be a common problem in their lighter weight products. The durability of their base layers is definitely an issue they need to address.
