I wore these pants for several days in the woods, when clothes that could keep me warm in the wet were very important, and I was satisfied with these pants' comfort and warmth. They're very comfortable and lightweight, as well.

I haven't worn these pants for very long, so I can't comment yet on their durability. It's possible that over time these pants will merit more than the 4 stars I gave it; I wanted to be conservative.

The side pocket was convenient for, e.g., holding a stick of chapstick or other small items, but it does have a tendency to bunch up.

These pants are perfect. They have become my go to pants for my saturday morning errands and more. I find the fit to be dead on. I am 5'1" and the xs is perfect even in the length. Another winner thanks ibex.

I already had a brown pair of these that have lasted many uses for the past four years. When our winter here in Tennessee continued to be cold and snowy, I bought a second pair. These are loose enough to wear silk longjohns underneath on the really cold days, but stylish enough to wear with a sweater and scarf to a chamber music concert.

These pants are fantastic--just enough give in the waist and thigh areas, plus nice and loose below knee. My only complaint is that they are sized way too long for shorter women (I'm 5'3" and size medium--32" inseam too too long) and must be hemmed, making them even more pricey! If they could be offered in a shorter inseam (29" or 30" even) these pants would get 5 stars in my book!! Maybe next season?

These pants live up to the how great all the Ibex clothing items have been. Nothing else like them exists that I know of. They make fleece seem like something from a bygone era. They are a nice addition to the heavy tights, which are great for winter running and biking. The difference is these can be worn everywhere. The leg is nice and straight, not too wide. I wear these pants all the time in cold weather, mostly for work purposes because you can throw anything on top and they look great. Though they'd probably be good for snowshoeing or x-country skiing too. The main improvement over the earlier loose tights version is that they removed the detailing on the front/side that used to hit at an unflattering place on the hips. They are now sleek with a nice line--I don't find them frumpy at all as an earlier reviewer did--they hug my hips and butt in a flattering way but as the name states are loose in the legs. Also, the length is just right for me--I'm 5' 3" and the XS is just perfect. Super comfy.

The waistband is less constricting on this second incarnation of loose tights.
Also the design around the waistband has been simplified. Since I am only
5'3" everything has to be shortened for me so I simply get the pants hemmed. These are wonderful in cold weather and the fit is great. I wear
them constantly all winter and for some of the spring and fall. All in all a
really great pair of pants.

Had to return these pants. I really wanted this pant for winter travel and hiking, but was really disappointed by the fit. Not very stylish or flattering in the look. Felt like pants I borrowed from my mother....

These pants are fine for seeing patients in my professional practice, fine for meetings, going out to dinner. At first I dry cleaned them and then decided to hand wash them with Ivory; it worked well. My only complaint is that after several wearings the knees bag a bit. My weight
tends to vary a bit; these pants just adapt.
