I tried this dress on very early in the season and just did not think I would get enough use out of it - I live in Vermont after all! When the summer continued to be hot I broke down and bought it. I love the dress. I have a bust line - 38C and there is still enough coverage. I wear a shawl when I need more coverage. I live in the dress and have gotten many compliments.

First time I wore this dress was 4th of July weekend after a 30 mile bicycle ride. It was perfect for a casual 4th of July get together. I think it would be ok for a date or night out too. I have the dark blue color and it is gorgeous! It is a figure-flattering dress. The shelf bra is fine for me since I'm a 34-36B. It is extremely comfortable and I love the soft fabric.

I got this dress in medium, to replace the size small one I loved (slightly different design, no crossback; would have preferred to just duplicate the old one) and can't fit my torso-section in anymore (after 1.5 years; I'm approaching 36, so … you know).

I love this dress as much, except I guess I'm getting to be a weird shape because the bust area is a tad bit too big for me / the coverage line seems lower than I'd like it (and I've cinched the back bow as far as it will go — so much so that it doesn't lay perfectly, and the tag gets all sticky-outy). My husband says the dress makes my breasts look big, ha ha. I preferred the smaller support band to the wide and white elastic one in this new model.

Sounds like I hate it, doesn't it? No, I wear it days in a row. It can do most anything; travels well, walks well, is easy to dress up to work-status by adding a cardigan, which is necessary anyway b/c places use so much air-conditioning.

I would even like it in a longer model. Can't wait to see what next year's black wool dress is!

I'm going to be taking some extended trips this summer and I wanted clothes which were top quality, capable of transitioning from hiking to blending into the city, comfortable, lightweight and preferably wool due to the odor fighting abilities. This dress fits the bill.

It's first test was going from the bag to a gnarly 11 mile hike. When I got back to my car, I couldn't stop admiring how sexy I still looked (and smelled) after taking off my long sleeve cover up (sun protection). It's true that there isn't much support but I'm a 34B so I don't have much to prop up. The dark blue color is amazing - I was concerned it would cling to my hips but it was shockingly flattering.

Did I mention I couldn't stop staring at myself after a gnarly 11 mile hike? Worth every cent.
