I have used this jersey for longer rides, short intense rides, morning commutes -- you name it. It is by far the best jersey I have ever owned.

It would be a mistake to think that because this is a wool product it is inappropriate for warm conditions. I recently used this jersey (and my Arrive wool bibs)for a multi-hour MTN Bike ride in 92F, high humidity conditions and I was COOLER than I have been in any other jersey I've owned. Great temperature regulation! I'll notice that when I first start pedaling, the garment feels a little warm, but as things pick up I perceive a dramatic cooling effect, and it really stays dry! Pretty impressive.

One great detail of the Giro is the cut of the sleeves. Not too tight, and not at all loose. I always seem to have problems with the way most jerseys fit in this area - but the cuffs are perfectly executed. Great range of movement.

The last thing i will remark about is that the pink colorway is perfect for rolling right to the bar from the trail head - a luxury we have here in Waterbury, VT!

wool does not smell, just let it air out and it is good to go again. Can be used four to five times between washings. Does not loose shape and the zipper works well. It can be zipped and unzipped while on the move.

Great jersey lightweight and breatable even on very warm days. Hopefully new color choices will soon appear.

used for general cycling plus training-group rides. Really breathes and not overly suderiferous post rides. Great fit. Like the color but would like couple of other color choices. Zipper needs upgrade.

This jersey comes in some great colors. Some are high Vis, like PINK (my personal favorite) or Torch for those times when you want to be seen, by cars on the road or hunters in the woods, but there are also more mellow colors (Blue, Black, Grey) for when you just want to blend in with the crowd.
As far as fit… I'm kinda lean (some would say wimpy) so in general the Medium jersey is a little baggy on me, but most mediums are. The bottom of the jersey sits well below my waist and has a superb gummy band, making it great for eliminating that back gap often found between shorts and shirts. You will spend a little extra coin for the Full Zip, but in my mind it is totally worth it. The full zipper buys you two things, #1 on a long ride you can really regulate your temperature and #2 When you finish your ride and your all sticky, you do not have to pull that stinking bike shirt up and over your head only to get it stuck half way off (you know what I am talking about) with the Giro FZ just unzip it and it virtually falls off. Right now I own one Pink Giro, but I think I just might buy a Torch tomorrow.
