Been wearing this shirt about 50% of the time over the last 6 weeks of a long bike tour. it's exactly what I was hoping for. very light and airy and loose fitting. can button down the front on hot days. like all wool, you can sweat all day in it and it dries fast and does not retain smell. and then you can wear it out to grab a beer direct from the bike.

the collar is a bit flimsy, but that works great for jamming in panniers.

it's not flattering, but utterly practical.

highly recommended.

Okay - so I wrote a bad review of the Mechanics shirt based on the first one I ordered - So What!!

I highly recommend sizing up this shirt - I originally purchased a medium (like everything else I wear) and it seemed snug. I had to try again and, going with the large, I purchased my favorite summer shirt!! This is awesome and for style, comfort, and functionality the Mechanics shirt is unsurpassed!
