The Shak is a very useful piece in a variety of conditions. While it is a bit too itchy to be worn next to the torso, it is perfect for those times when a t-shirt is not quite enough. Unlike synthetics, this product breathes and wicks so moisture is managed well. Repels light precipitation. Replaces several other garments due to its versatility.

I get a lot of compliments on this sweater! Enough that I got a couple of them. The wool has a great feel to it, and I've had several women walk up touch the sleeves and ask about it. They are versatile. I wear them to work on chilly mornings, and it often doubles for a great looking scrub top. So its tough, comfortable in a wide temperature range and looks good enough to double as semi-professional wear. It's also great for cycling, doubles as a light jacket on chilly evenings and early morning rides. That kind of flexibility makes it great for travel. My first Shak Jersey got me looking for more Ibex clothing. The XXL fits my 6'3" stocky build very well. The extra length is perfect for someone tall.

A great layer. I wear it as a sweater over a lightweight shirt. It's a little tight, and hence can seem a little itchy, depending on the kind of shirt I'm wearing. But overall, I like it a lot. Great color -- olive.

My Shak is never far away from me. It's a perfect layer weight; just what you need to top off a light shirt on milder days or to wear under heavier garments to fight real cold. I wear it all year here in southern Wisconsin

It's durable and comfortable like the rugged cotton rugby jerseys I had back in the 70s, but vastly improved because it's merino; it's just as tough, but warmer.

I love the zip neck and find it's enough to add a little extra warmth or add a little extra ventilation.

One is never enough. I'm just warning you!

I love this shirt. I wear it all the time(with a t shirt, by it's self with a jacket.) The color(heather grey) is a bit darker than I expected but it looks realy good. You won't be able to wear more than a tshirt underneath so don't expect to wear it like a sweater but It breathes well enought that you can wear it even when it's warm out.

I own a half dozen in different colors and there is rarely a day I don't wear one; they have a wonderfully firm, soft, durable feel and they are comfortable across a wide range of tempertures, which is good for a profuse sweater like me. Simply stylish, mondo practical, tough as nails and ten times more good looking. Far and away the best wool top I've ever found, and I have looked far and wide. Excellent product - keep 'em coming!
