Comments about Ibex Peak Sport Zip:
I use this frequently for bike commuting and also for road biking. The zip neck and tucked in verses not tucked in gives it great temperature flexibility. Definitely cooler for riding in hot weather than any of the Ibex cycling specific tops. Zipper is easy to operate one handed while riding. Would be nice to see a cycling version of this with a form-fit cut.

Comments about Ibex Peak Sport Zip:
I use this shirt as a bike jersey to ride to work and back everyday. I only have to wash it on the weekend and even then it doesn't stink. In the humid Minnesota summer my synthetic jerseys stink before I even get on my bike. If you want a bike jersey that doubles as a hiking/traveling/everything shirt, this is it.

Comments about Ibex Peak Sport Zip:
I am currently on my second Ibex zippered t-shirt. For me, it's the ideal backpacking shirt. It provides the warmth of wool in cold, wet conditions and the zipper provides necessary cooling when it's hot. Over the years, I've had three week-long backpacks that turned out unseasonably cold, by northern Rocky Mtns standards. On each of these trips I never removed my Ibex t-shirt for a solid week. The shirt provided a warm, comfortable baselayer both day and night. At the end of each of these memorable trips there was absolutely no stink, just a slight musky smell if I put my nose directly to the armpit. Therein lies the astronomical superiority of wool. Synthetic shirts are more durable, especially for bushwhacking, but for normal backpacking and mostly on-trail use I'm satisfied with the longevity of this shirt.

Comments about Ibex Peak Sport Zip:
Yes, yes it is the perfect t-shirt. I now own it in 3 different colors because my wife told me I shouldn't wear the same shirt all summer. Great for camping, hiking, biking, and everything elso. Understated styling. The collar height is just perfect for me and people that are not familar with Ibex wool cannot believe how soft and comfortable this shirt is. Highly recommended.

Comments about Ibex Peak Sport Zip:
I ordered my first Peak Sport Zip shortly before heading off to a bike trip in France. While I only used it for casual wear, i.e., not while cycling, it was the perfect shirt for travel. It was the only non cycling shirt I brought and between the odor free attributes and the casual but not too (read not t-shirt casual)style, was the perfect shirt to have along. When I returned, I ordered another.

Comments about Ibex Peak Sport Zip:
this is the second Ibex t-shirt that I own, but the first zip neck. I can't overemphasize how excellent their lightweight fabric is (18.5 Micron New Zealand Merino; 150 g/m2) for managing sweat and warmth for warm weather activities. I entered the wool market for cold-weather use, but it is perhaps even more advantageous for warm weather. Weightless, breathable, super smell resistant and well fitting (hangs well and does not restrict movement, even when wet). I've hiked with a pack (4 straight days, no smell), ran, and biked (a lot) in this and can say without a doubt that it is the best performing t-shirt that I have ever owned. Apart from thae above, it also has a super smooth zipper (a legit one-hander). Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the jury is still out on durability.
