Comments about Ibex Zepher Long Johns:
I wore these on a British Columbia Goat hunt and they were just just the ticket in Temperatures from 5 - 50 degrees. They never got hot and performed well in some very cold sitting on top of the mountain.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Long Johns:
I have been using and wearing Ibex products for several years now, under varying conditions in the Montana backcountry. I am a professional survival instructor and naturalist and long time wool advocate. Ibex makes good gear that performs exceptionally well in all areas but two: Durability and Repair.
For the price of the long underwear class of garments, it should be both durable and repairable. I've gone through numerous woolies tops, norgie tops, mid-weight bottoms and roaster briefs in the 8 or so years I've used this stuff and it always ends up the same way: after about a year and a half, elbows, knees and other high-friction areas give out like clockwork and sewing does little to stop holes in such fine material. I beg the R&D folks to reinforce these areas on some of your products with either a heavier gauge wool, a wool-poly blend or some such solution!!
I wear the hell out of these garments and do love them. I advocate them in my writings and many courses about dressing for survival, but I am now officially fed up with shelling out so much cash for gear with this built-in limitation. If you guys can do a little re-tooling, you will come out on top of the rapidly growing wool-outdoor clothing market.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Long Johns:
The best pair of long john's I own They are awesome! Three weeks ago I went skiing and it was -8 degrees F at the base I thought I was going to be miserable all day because I only had these on with my ski pants, and not once did my legs get cold once. These are well worth the money Buy them you won't regret it.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Long Johns:
I just got my first pair of ibex longjohns and i couldn't be happier with the product. I spend 100 + days on-mountain in Aspen, Co. and it gets mighty chilly up there. Functionality and comfort are my primary concerns. I've tried a lot of different types of long underwear in my day--and the ibex longjohns are by far the best i've used. They're super warm, and they feel luxurious next to my skin. ibex exceeded my expectations and i'm telling everybody in Aspen about it.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Long Johns:
I bought a pair of these a few years ago and almost never wear them. Since I purchased a couple of pairs of 3/4 Johns they are redundant. The long length bunches up under long ski socks. They are too warm to wear under street trousers on any but the absolutely most frigid days even in Minnesota. Not bad of their sort but not nearly as functional as the 3/4 Johns.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Long Johns:
15 days straight in Alaska fly fishing --- and I only brought one pair of ibex long johns. Waders are notorious for producing funk and my ibex long johns never had a smell. 15 days! 12 hours per day in my waders.
They kept me warm as well.
I'm still shocked. Ibex is all you need.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Long Johns:
For the last 25 years I have fished, hunted, hiked, and camped in the Alaskan interior. I hate wearing long underwear as I found it restrictive for my 6'7" height, ill fitting, and not worth the effort. I preferred an overpant. I was talked into trying a pair of IBEX by a sales lady at a local sporting goods store. I found it spendy but worth it. Fits well, allows me freedom of movement, and is comfortable for an active person. Another factor most important to me is that it is wool. If you have ever waded a river or fell through the ice with good wool you will need no further explanation. I will buy more IBEX long johns.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Long Johns:
Great fit and just the right weight. I can wear these upland bird hunting one day and the next day out earning my turns in the backcountry and the Ibex wool functions perfectly. Especially so, since I need to wear a full knee brace and these fit great underneath it, while not having so much bulk as to interfere with the brace support. Plus they are just the right warmth under shell pants in cold temps to keep my temp up. Another great product.
