I usually never wear winter hats because they always keep my head too warm. This hat does an amazing job of regulating temperature. I usually forget I have it on. It is not the most stylish hat, but the performance more than makes up for that.

I prefer this hat to the Meru, which I also own, because the Zepher is all wool and also covers my ears well. It's very comfortable with zero itch. In fact, it's so soft & barely-there, yet very warm, that I often sleep in it in a cold cabin. When the temp really drops, I love the Zepher under another hat. It also works well with the Carrie Hoody. The Zepher is a very valuable part of my winter wear! Thank you, Ibex, for making so many items in the U.S.

This cap was intended to replace a hat that I've had for many years. As it's wool it breaths, doesn't smell and is easy to care for. What else can you ask for.

I bought a couple of these and am glad I did. They are perfect for cool weather on their own or in cold cold as a layer. I am a size 7 1/4 unless my hair is really long and these cover my ears in either event.

Covers my ears. Nice at 40F when a Balaclava is too much and a sweatvac bandana is too little.

I am a daily nearly year round commuter in the PNW, (I skip the snow/freeze weather) and the moto around here is layers and "wait a minute weather". I ride just under an hour each way and this hat is good for the whole trip, from starting out cold to full sweat as I near home/work. Just by itself it looks totally dorky but it's designed to fit under a helmet and for that it's excellent.

This hat is great, it fully covers your ears and head which is huge. It is sort of thin but very warm, so you can wear it in the warmer months as well. It also looks great on me, my girlfriend started stealing it so I bought some more of them because I will inevitably lose one, and destroy one. It is really stretchy and should fit any head - I have a big melon and it fits me great, and when my gf puts it on, it fits her small head too.

Being a shaved head guy, I need some "hair" when it cold out. This hat is perfect! Not too hot, not too cold, it's keeps my head temp regulated. I cross country ski, hike, walk the dogs, wherever I am or what I do this hat is with me.

I recently discovered Ibex and have become a big fan even though I don't have many items yet. I decided to buy this hat online after reading all the great reviews. I also have Ibex glove liners that I love. When I first tried the hat on, I thought I might have to return it or give it to a friend because it was very large on a me (a small framed female). But I decided instead to try to shrink it in the dryer. That helped a little, a second time helped even more. But I like the hat nonetheless. It's good for cool weather or high activity when it's cold. It can also be worn under a climbing helmet.
