This is the warmest hat I have ever owned. This hat is also on the large side and is the first hat that will completely cover my ears. I own quite a few wool hats and I seem to fall into the upper range of the "one size fits all" category (not that my head is freakishly large) and this hat fits. Love the fact that the material is quality along with first rate construction that you get with products "Made in Italy".

This hat is just about perfect for me. Fits my (large) head, doesn't itch, keeps me warm, and even looks good. Very good protection in the snowstorm we had recently. I've ordered another one of these for my partner, to keep her from stealing mine.

Four of these and counting...! The colors are great; the style is attractive and functional. Usually "one size fits all" hats of either gender won't fit me, as my head is large, but this one fits very well. I'm grateful for the extra layers over the ears, particularly in this tough winter! This hat is great. It is super warm, better for belay type situations rather than any level of activity. Its a bit big, which at first I didn't like but given that its best used when you aren't moving around alot, the over sized-ness I feel actually adds to the comfort.

I had an old version of this hat and loved it. It was warm, comfortable, and attractive. I ordered a new one though, and it was way too big! The hat seemed really tall and looked silly on.
