I haven't actually worn the skirt yet since it is more of a winter weight and right now it is august. But I tried it on and it fits great. Looking forward to winter.

This is a nice skirt, but it runs big in the waist (size S) and I don't like the color (Bittersweet; nondescript and drab). Combined with the slightly nubby texture of the fabric, it looks a bit frumpy. The side seam detailing and the pockets add style to the skirt. However, it also adds bulk that is not attractive. Ironing it may help, though. I'm returning it, but I would try a different color (black) and smaller size (XS).

Given the winter weight of the fabric, I found this skirt too short to be practical for real cold weather wearing. It was a couple inches above the knee for me, and I am 5'8". I have been waiting for this winter weight Ibex skirt for years, but had to send it back. You simply cannot go sledding with your 4th graders in this skirt!!! :>

Its black, comfortable, basic classic style makes this good for work and fun. Went to Tahoe for a week and took other bottoms but wore this out nearly every evening with tights. Great skirt. I have added many Ibex pieces to my work wardrobe, and this is one of them. The really sporty pieces don't cut it for work, but classic pieces like this skirt, Izzy pants, zip shak have kept me warm, comfortable and stylish at work. Thanks, Ibex!

I bought this skirt in both colors and intend to get many years out of them. Classic look, comfortable, fabric hangs very well due to thickness, and can wear to anything.

This is a great skirt, fits great, looks good with boots, converse tennies and sandals. The weight is perfect for the NW, can wear it easily in 3 seasons.

I would have used this skirt as work wear. I'm a biological researcher at a university. This skirt is practical and about the current limit for style at my job. However, the xsmall skirt was too large. I'm 5'4" about 115 lbs and I was swimming. That aside, the cut was nice although the fabric was not what I was expecting. It did not have a jersey free flowing drape, but a stiffer more robust construction with interesting ribbing.

I've waited through 2 months of backorder to get this skirt, so maybe I built it up too much in my mind, but I have to say I'm disappointed. I really wanted to love it, but . . . . the pockets are really lumpy. You might say, "hey, maybe your hips are too big and you should have ordered a size larger," but I'd answer, "the waist is already too big." Its also way shorter than it looks in the picture and falls well above my knees (I'm just under 5'7"). In the photo it is very a-line, in reality the large (at least) is like a square. It is warm, stretchy, and lusciously constructed like all my beloved ibex pieces.

P.S. it grabs animal hair like nothing else I own.
