Comments about Ibex Carrie Vest:
I have this Carrie Vest and a Milled Merino one. I like them both but I live in the mountains and find myself reaching for the Milled Merino vest when I'm cold. It's just an extra bit cuddly. the collar zips high and is lined with soft fabric - so maybe it's like being zipped into a snuggly - and I like that feeling. If you live in a warmer climate the Carrie Vest may be better for you, and it's slimmer profile seems a bit more flattering.

Comments about Ibex Carrie Vest:
I bought this vest last year and it was the introduction to Ibex wear for me. I bought it when it was called the Bella. It has held up very well to everyday wear. I wear it constantly as soon as I walk in the door at home, for walks, and for errands. I've washed it in cold water with gentle detergent, hang to dry. It has not changed in shape and the colors still look new. I love the heather red. I would prefer the length to be an inch or two longer, as I have to wear something underneath that hangs lower to cover the gap between the top of my pants and the vest. It is a great material for comfort, no itchiness at the neck, pockets are perfect except I wish they zipped up. Love the fit.

Comments about Ibex Carrie Vest:
I REALLY wanted this vest but I just couldn't make it work. The front of the arms are cut too small, so when I move my arms, I feel pressure in the front of my arms. It's pretty uncomfortable. I found this issue with another IBEX vest I tried, so I suspect they are all cut too small for me in the front. I'm 5'3" and less than 130 pounds, so I wear size medium. If you can wear their vests, this one is probably fine for you too.
Also, I personally wish all the IBEX vests and jackets would be a bit longer in the body. Other than the issue with the arms, the fit is really nice overall.
IBEX - please look at this and I would happily try the vest again. I have another wool vest from another company that is super comfortable in the arms, and they are cut much bigger.

Comments about Ibex Carrie Vest:
I purchased a bunch of stuff from Ibex for the first time recently and figured I'd send most of it back. Wrong! I ended up keeping everything, including this vest, which has a very flattering cut and is exceptionally warm. It's just such a high quality piece of clothing - I love it!

I have two and love them both! More colors, please! I wear them for work, kid sports, outdoor sports - just about everything. Fleece around the colar is a nice touch. I am almost not looking forward to spring and putting them away for the season!

Comments about Ibex Carrie Vest:
I wear this vest when a jacket is too warm but I still need some core protection. I love it for bike commuting, outdoor casual wear, road biking/bike commuting and even around the house when the thermostat's down. The only con is it's a bit short--I'm 5' 10", 140 lbs and wear the medium. Would have been nice to have a longer version for us tall girls.

Comments about Ibex Carrie Vest:
I hardly go a day without wearing one of my Carrie vests, since i would rather wear a vest than too many arm layers. It works perfectly as a mid-layer, and is also great as an outer layer. It is comfortable, not too long on my rather short body, and just better in all ways than my fleece vests. I really appreciate the soft pockets, and the only way i could improve on this vest would be to line the collar in the internal pocket material. My favorite color, so far, is the brown, with its lightly contrasting and flattering mid-body trim. I am a quite solid size 12, generally, and am happy in the extra large Carrie. The large may work well, also, but I haven't tried one. I wear size large base layers in Ibex, but like to have room to layer beneath this vest.
