Love this zip up sweater with hood! The purple heather has bits of every color in it, I've gotten lots of compliments. Have worn it with a skirt to a business dinner as well as running around doing errands. Easily dresses up or down. It's very comfortable and comes through the wash with flying colors. The boucle is incredibly soft (sent back a Shak item b/c it was too stiff).

I have worn this every day since I got it: skiing, hiking, around the house, at the bar...
SO cozy and looks great. Warmer than I would expect for the weight too. My only complaint is that the zipper is kind of junky, metal zipper please!

I purchased one in black and the look and fit are perfect for me. Great weight for casual or active. I laughed when I read the other comments about loud zippers; just don't wear it when you're out trying to sneak up on wildlife... Nice job Ibex!

My first Ibex purchase ever.

I just wore wore it for 3 solid days while I visited the in-laws. I got compliments on it's material and fit and I felt dressy in casual clothing, a first! But by the end of the trip I noticed that the underside of the sleeves were beginning to pill-up. I hope that doesn't happen to the rest of the sweater in short order.

That said, I have a long torso and shorts arms and this fits perfectly. I happen to like the contrast zippers on the hoody (black hoody with grey zippers) despite the fact that the zippers are more casual than the fabric and cut imply and I love love love the pockets.

Yes, the zipper pull does rattle, but, wrap it with something. Sleeves are just right for me but my arms are a little long. Love, love the fabric, the pockets with zippers & cozy lining, the length. The hood is small to wear a baseball cap under but ok with just my head, and, shaped well. Oh, and the red color is marvelous, a red heather that harmonizes with anything red. I'm thinking about another one.

This is my third Carrie Hoody and I adore the red purple color. This hoody remains one of my most frequently worn and favorite Ibex pieces. With its handy pockets and looser yet stylish cut, it just edges out the Shak full zip in my high esteem.

I found the size LARGE hoody to really be a medium, if you like a jacket to be slightly roomy to hold in warm air order one size larger. In no way is the Extra Large as big as you'd think.
