I have two Shaks and find that I reach for them far more often than for my old synthetic fleeces. They're warm, hold their shape through multiple wearings and are reasonably stylish. They're not the typical blocky no-sense-of-style outdoor gear. All in all, the shak is great. Here in northern New England it's a 3-4 season item.

Like all my Ibex purchases, I really like this sweater and will wear it several days in a row just because it's so neat and comfortable. I layer a cotton turtleneck under it for a change. The sleeves are very long. I'm 5'2" so the sleeves on a lot of your tops are too long but I am used to it and I see how many tall customers you have. But someday I hope you can offer petite sleeve length sizes.

I loooove the Shak. By far the best looking wool jersey out there. I've also tried Patagonia wool and Icebreaker, and Ibex has them beat. And made in the USA! The colors are beautiful (I have a cranberry one and a brown one), the zipper is just the right length. My ONLY small complaint is the length - I have a longish torso and it would be great to have an extra inch or two in the overall length, although the sleeve length is perfect. Thanks, Ibex!

We just took our shaks (both my girls and myself and my husband) to the Grand Tetons backpacking. They were perfect! Warm, comfortable and then (when they are clean), you can wear them out around town! There is not a better product on the market.

I went to Alaska this January to visit my son who is in the Army. I made sure I packed my Ibex woolies, shaks and wool sweaters. Winter in Alaska is no place for the faint of heart, zero during the day and 20 below at night is common. Along with the frigid temps, as a bonus you get 40 - 50 mph winds! But my Ibex wool kept me toasty warm through it all!
