Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I've worn this for layering and on it's own. The green color is so cheerful on drab, cold days. I could live in this sweater and have gotten lots of compliments. It's breathable and warm. It's classy looking too.

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I love this top. Great thickness for layering or as a sweater on it's own. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because the arms are a bit long (which hasn't been the case for other Ibex tops I have of the same size - small).

I love these sweater/shirts. This is my second one! Glad to get it in purple. Warm and very versatile.

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
Ibex doesn't cheat on sizes - which is code for medium is medium, not medium large - and doesn't skimp on arm length. For me, this is a big deal. I hate having my wrists dangling out of meanly proportioned sleeves when everything else fits. But this is a practical garment that is figure flattering. It's not fashionable, it's classic. I like.

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I really like the shak fabric. It is very durable and comfortable. I went up one size, otherwise the jersey is kind of tight across the chest. The purple color is beautiful

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I'm a hard-core outdoor athlete - telemark skiing, mountaineering, whitewater paddling, you name it - and all my favorite city clothes are usually my favorite backcountry clothes. This wool jersey is my new favorite - it just survived a 12,000'+ ski mountaineering trip, and still looked good at the brewpub when we got back into town. It's tough, it feels great, and it looks terrific.
My only caveat? I'm 5'2", and like everything else, it's a little long in the torso for me. Other than that - it's awesome.

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I got the green color Shak for a gift and love IT! The size, warmth and style are great for remote Alaska. I often wear it for hiking and traveling. Versatile and practical for me. Washes nicely and still looks good. Unfortunately, I got one little snag and my 2 year old found it and made it ten times worse; my only complaint; but don't really blame it on the sweater. I loved this gift so much, I had to get it for my identical twin sister who lives in the city. I had to get her black so she is still stylish and I know she'll love it just as much as I have.

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I have used this product (so far) to keep warm while working on the computer (sitting), and as a second or third layer over my t-shirt and/or zepher layer instead of a heavier coat while walking early in the am, and as a "jacket" while running errands under my wind layer.

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I live in rural Alaska where winters are cold and summers cool and short. I buy Ibex products because of function not fashion. I already own the shak hoody and wear it everyday! The only think I don't like about it is I often where it as my outter most layer on warm days and there are no pockets to stash keys, wallet etc. A kangeroo pocket would have been ideal. The same goes for the shak jersey. A small stash pocket would be nice. Also with the shak jersey I found the torso length is shorter then on the hooded shak which can be really annoying with cold weather. I am 5'7 and a extra few inches in length would be nice. Pants seem to get lower and shirt cuts higher these days, I'm not sure who thought this was good design because I assure you there is nothing worse then a cold breeze up your back at-20 below everytime you bend over. Other then the length and lack of pockets this is a great, comfortable, useful product that I hope Ibex will continue to improve design on.
