Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
The Shak was recommended to me by two friends that I trail ride with. They both love theirs and stay toasty warm when we ride in the winter. I have worn mine on 3 trail rides in the snow and my Shak has been the perfect addition to my wardrobe. I liked it so much I am going to order another one!

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I love the Shak! I bought the Indie Crew and Zip T for base layers, and the Shak on top sets me up for any vigorous outdoor activity without the need for another layer. If I were going to stand around, I'd also add a windproof shell, but the Shak alone is heavy enough for me for most of my activities. I have one in black and it is a very stylish (for me) garment, suitable for work or a party. I am 5/6" and the Shak is plenty long enough (I bought XL due to my 38C bust!) and not too tight. I hate tight wool tops! This one, even in XL, is just right.

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
My Shak Jersies have really gotten a workout this winter! I have several of them in different colors and have worn them constantly. They're great on their own or layered with a Woolie underneath. The understated styling means they're suitable for work as well as walking the dog. The only suggestion I have is to make the women's Shak longer in the body.

The Ibex sweaters will replace my fleece: they're as warm, pack in much less space, and are quite feminine

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I used this on my recent ski trip for travel and casual wear under a jacket, vest or sweater. It mixed beautifully with my Ibex wool pants and was very stylish looking. I like the weight and the fact you can zip it up for a turtleneck effect or unzip for more comfort. I would love this in a variety of colors.

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
This is a really versatile weight wool sweater. My husband has one and I was excited to get one from him for Chrtistmas. Unfortunately, the sweater is cut too short, by almost 2 inches. I am 5'-10" and will have to return the sweater and perhaps try a Mens medium. I hope Ibex learns from the feedback, because I would buy another one as soon as they correct the fit.

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I bought my son a kid's shak for Christmas and had to get one for myself. It is dense, durable, and versatile. My only gripe is the web color depiction. I bought the "Warm Green" thinking it looked earthy, but it is definitely more of a "Bright Apple" or "Wicked Witch" green.

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
Ladies, this is it. The Shak Jersey is, in my book, the perfect sweater for winter riding. I am a dressage rider and I live in Minnesota. Finding a great sweater -- that fits well, breathes, is comfortable and stylish is a tall order. The Shak fits the bill!! With respect to sizing: I am 5'10" tall and weigh approx. 128 lbs. My arms are quite long, and I typically have difficulty finding a sweater (or any shirt, for that matter) that has long enough sleeves. A large or extra-large size is long enough -- but those sizes are too big through the body. The Shak is PERFECT! I bought the medium size in almost every color offered. The body fits and the sleeves are long enough!! One thing to note: I also purchased the Hooded Shak (size medium). The fit is a bit narrower than the Shak Jersey -- but I love it just as much!

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I work my thistle/heather Shak jersey day in/out over several winters. Eventually some of the stitching near the wrist got worn out. 24 hrs after contacting Ibex about a repair, I had a brand new replacement at my door. How much better can that be? The Shak is a do-everything, lightweight, fitted top. My everyday wear for chilly New England winter is a woolies base layer, shak, and Carrie hoody. Toasty warm in wool. No more fleece for me. Thank Ibex!

Comments about Ibex Shak Jersey:
I tried the hooded shak as well, and I liked the fit a little better on this one without the hood. The hooded one is more tailored, fitted. This one does not have the princess seaming, so it's not quite as shapely, but it's still cut very well, and not baggy. I usually wear medium size in most clothing lines, but with Ibex the large fits better.
