Wish it were a bit longer for tucks in the back...winter biking means more rear coverage. Often this is the only thing under my softshell... its that warm on a long ride. Love everything ibex. I have bought some mens shirts for more length, but don't seem to fit the bust as well.
more stripes! crazy colors! longer tails!

Comments about Ibex Woolies Crew:
Woolies are the perfect weight for all outdoor pursuits and everything else. I wear this top for running, hiking, skiing, layering under t-shirts, bumming around- yeah, just about everything. The neck line is great- wider than most tops, a plus in my book. Unfortunately, this item is not made in the USA. Hopefully this will be remedied in the near future.

I just received my third "woolies crew". I especially love it for hiking and travel. Last Christmas all three of my children recieved one as a present from me. And, they love it as well. Pat

The crew is a gift for my mom and she is not allowed to open it until Oct 14th. However, I bought Ibex for my Dad (who has zero body fat) and he was amazed how warm he was without the bulk! I have several items of Ibex for layering top and bottom and also a jacket (with matching hat, of course). My husband takes great care of me with the Ibex surprise boxes!
He is my mountaineering guide and has his layering down to a science - I always defer to him when packing for a backcountry ski adventure, climbing ice....whereever he takes me! Ibex allows for maximum warmth with the lightest pack!!!!!!

This was my "go to" shirt everyday on my Isle Royale canoe trip this past August. I took other long sleeve shirts, but this was by far the best. It didn't even smell after 7 days, was cool to wear on very warm days, and always looked clean. I will buy the Woolie Crew again and again. Great new colors! Thank you IBEX!

Can't have this without the Long Janes as well. This is my basic long sleeve layer that is my second layer of skin come cold weather. Period.

Comments about Ibex Woolies Crew:
Just bought the shirt and haven't had the opportunity to wear or to wash, so I don't know comfort quality, insulation power, or how it goes through the laundry. On first try-on, it did seem a tad scratchy. However, being wool the shirt should be breathable and warm, and I expect it to soften after washing. The fabric is very light and stretchy (but not at all see-through), and so should perform well as a first layer. Finally, I love the cut and stitching details; and the color puts its online picture to shame-- "soft green" looked a bit grayish online, not bad really; but when the shirt arrived, I was really pleased by how much brighter the green really was.
I look forward to some chilly cycling weather to test this top out. I only gave it four stars because I haven't worn it yet!

The black woolie is a superb layering piece, and any woolie is great for warmth and comfort. But I wish you would bring back the original one inch hemmed cuff. It is so much more feminine and/or versatile than the underwear-looking cuff you have now.

For me, the best thing about this shirt is the combination of how soft it is and how it never gets smelly. I wore it five days in a row backpacking and it did well. Also, I have an older one that I've been wearing for heavy exercise and washing for two years, and it has never picked up a permanent smell the way polypro does. Go wool!

I wear this top hiking right next to my skin and it does not itch at all. Once I got caught in a downpour and even though I got wet, the wool kept me evenly warm.
