      I'm a full-time bike commuter in MN and these pants are nearly perfect with the very small point that they have no built-in restraint to keep the pant leg out of the bike chain. Just a small internal drawstring would make them the perfect pants!

      The first pair I bought was too small in the waist but they fit my sweetie perfectly so I bought the next size up for myself. The fit seems more like a compression fit under-layer than a top layer so I would advise getting the next size up from your typical.

      OK, they're spendy, but a proven winner in my time out in Alaska. Anything that can keep the weight off your back or out of the sled, like this one pant option is good. They can be layered for more warmth or not and don't suck up moisture when sweated up or on a wet chair lift. Too warm for competitive events. So far have held up after 2 winters of wear. Way to go IBEX!

        ALTHOUGH I WON'T HAVE A CHANCE TO USE THESE PANTS HUNTING THIS WINTER, I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR'S TRIPS ALREADY. I CHOSE THESE PANTS BASED ON THE RESULTS OF USAGE OF THE SEVERAL 3 SEASON JACKETS I HAVE FROM IBEX. WIND-PROOFNESS, GENEROUS COMFORTABLE FIT AND WARMTH ARE THE EXPECTATIONS BASED ON MY PREVIOUS PURCHASES. THESE PANTS WILL HELP KEEP ME COMFORTABLE WHEN THE WEATHER BECOMES THAT 4TH SEASON UNEXPECTEDLY.

          I bought these pants to go play in the snow. I wound up wearing them snow skiing and they worked great. It was a warmer day that got down to below freezing as we transitioned to night skiing, and I was comfortable in these in both conditions. I stayed super dry and the pants worked very well as ski pants.

              I use these for equal parts resort and back country skiing. Probably 70% tele and 30% nordic. They are windproof enough and super breathable.
