Comments about Ibex Balance T:
I am a medium. I purchased a medium and the neck was way too tight as were the armpits. It was uncomfortable. I sent it back and got a large and the neck was just as tight and the armpits were still tight. I wound up by returning it.

The concept of this shirt seems that it would produce a great base layer however the execution is another thing. Overall it runs small compared to the measurements provided on this web site and the neck is VERY tight. I'm sure that Ibex will fix it but until then, I would recommend choosing something else.

Comments about Ibex Balance T:
I asked for this as a gift and was disappointed. First, the size (XL) was -- except for the length -- way to small. The neck opening is tiny. I usually wear medium Ts but this XL was smaller than a small. Second, the color -- night -- was not very black. I'd have lived with the color, but the size was impossible. This is the first ibex product I've ever had trouble with.

I mean really cool - below freezing point. Woolies were ok, but, still leaving air pockets between your skin and fabric. It's not a big deal when temperature is above 0C, but makes you overdress and suffer a heat exhaustion when exercising in winter time. With the compressed fit of Balance T's it's no longer a problem.
Comments about Ibex Balance T:
I had very high hopes for the Balance shirt, especially since one of my favorite Ibex pieces is the Balance Runner Short, which fit great, feel great and function great. But I was very disappointed with the fit of this shirt.
I know it's supposed to be a slim, form-fitting shirt, so I ordered an X-Large, but I was still choked by the neck, and even the torso and shoulders in that size were too tight fitting for my liking, and I'm a thin 140 lb., 5'-9" athletic runner guy. I couldn't wear it comfortably, and returned it. Aside from the length, I would say that the X-Large fit like a Small.
It's too bad, since the lightweight design of the shirt with the mesh pattern on the sleeves, and at the front and back of the torso probably function very well in warmer weather and for high aerobic activities, but the fit is so far off the mark, that I'll never find out.
Please Ibex, consider redesigning this shirt to more of a conventional fit, and definitely redesign the neck opening to be more generous, and I think you'll have a winner.
