Comments about Ibex Zepher Sport:
What a super short. Works best for me directly against the skin as a base layer. but also works as an outer if you want. Great fit and quality. I love the green!

Comments about Ibex Zepher Sport:
I've been very happy with my Indie Zip T (see review), and rather than buying another Indie in a different color, I decided to try the Zephyr Sport for variety and its slightly heavier fabric. At 5'10" and 165 lb., the Zephyr fits me perfectly. I wear it, with either a short or long-sleeve wool undergarment depending on the temperature, for both indoor and outdoor activities. As with my other wool garments, the Zephyr keeps me comfortable over a wide range of temperatures and levels of exertion. Although I bought it primarily for casual use, the Zephyr is stylish enough to wear for an evening out on the town.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Sport:
On all these comments I think people should state there size and build and what size they got and how it fits. Well I'm 6' 1" and about 175lb with kinda long arms and this fits perfect!

Comments about Ibex Zepher Sport:
Fits nicely and is soft next to the skin. I can hike all day in it and it still feels nice and doesn't hold in the body odor.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Sport:
I am 6'1 175lbs and the size medium fit me perfect. The shirt is great for everyday wear or for layering. The shirt is not to tight or to loose. Very comfortable and dries quickly with no odor retention.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Sport:
I love this Zepher. It feels just right as far as size. The sleeves are just the right length as opposed to my Shak sleeves which are a bit long. Of course, I haven't washed it yet so, hopefully, they won't get shorter. It is also softer than the Shak, which is to be expected. I think that the "Sport" model with the two colors is really spiffier than the one color version.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Sport:
Used this only a couple of times, but the shirt performed well. The zipper was a plus when overheating. I'm an average build and the medium size was not too tight nor too loose.

One of the best pieces of clothing I ever bought. Comfortable from the first second I put it on, wouldn't change a thing.

Comments about Ibex Zepher Sport:
First, this review will be useful to you if you are thinking of buying an Ibex jersey like the Zepher for biking to work or doing other activities outdoors. It will offer no style advice, or other help for the cool-looking crowd. I offer no comment of how it looks, however I can tell you how it smelled, after several weeks of riding around with a heavy bag on my back under a windbreaker. Okay, that's cleared up. I got this thing for riding in, not looking nice. So the review will be from that perspective. As that goes, the review form asks you to describe yourself. The options are "getting started", "casual/recreational", "avid adventurer", or "outdoor professional". I'm not new to riding, nor do I only do it on weekends, so the first two don't fit. And I'm not a bike racer, cycle courier, or even a commercial fisherman; I can't claim my time outdoors is being paid for. So "professional" is out. So I put "avid adventurer." But don't think I'm going to tell you the Zepher is a must for basejumping or swimming with sharks. I bike every day, I don't jump out of planes. Is that adventure? Don't know but nothing else fit. That said by way of clarification, I have used wool while riding daily for some time now and it isn't just a weekend thing, it's a way of life and a daily experience. I ride to work in rain, snow, and sun. And then go out on Sunday for a long ride for fun. And so I can tell you the Ibex Zepher is pretty darned good at its job.
I am a big fan of wool, having several ibex jerseys as well as wool by toher companies. I have found the ibex to be well made -- with the exception of the durability of their thin t-shirts, one finally got a hole in it after a year of not very frequent use.
The longsleeves tho' have held up good. The Zepher is thinner and softer than the Shak, and the wool material seems finer and tighter than other brands, including some bike specific jerseys.
For riding to work in the winter I typically wear a wool longsleeve over a shortsleeve shirt then a jacket. This is sufficient unless it's below 20 degrees F. A plus is that the wool doesn't tend to smell; I've worn the same longsleeve for several weeks without washing, riding every day, and people have told me it smells okay.
Some have said the sleeves seem long; I find they sometimes do, but would rather have this than not, since I primarily get around by bike. When riding your arms are in front of you, the length helps. Also I'm thinking it helps provide better overall mov't of the arms by the shoulders, which is useful in other activities includign somethign simply like shoveling snow.
The Zepher Sport is, in other words, a well made item that does exactly what it should.
The downside is that like most well made item's it's not cheap. The Zepher is actually cheaper than many bike-specific longsleeve wool jerseys, but it is not bargain-priced, either. However, as it seems built to last this shouldn't be an issue.

When do I wear my Zepher? When don't I wear by Zepher. My absolute favorite shirt. Nothing more to say.
