Comments about Ibex Peak Sport Zip:
Used for casual wear, I'd like to use it for biking more. But for that to happen, I'd need the body of the shirt to be more form-fitting, and the tail to drop a bit. With the square-cut bottom and relatively loose fit, it is perfect for casual wear. The only reason I take one star away is because I think it WOULD be a better all-around shirt if it had these more athletic details. The material and build quality are top notch. Love the zipper compared to my Echo-T that doesn't have it.

Comments about Ibex Peak Sport Zip:
As an earlier reviewer noted, I too wore this shirt on a week-long backpacking trip (mine in high Sierra in August) and was super pleased to find that this shirt did not retain any funky body odor. This fact was verified by my wife at trip's end. The only time I took this shirt off was to swim a few times. Other than that, it was on my back full time. The zipper is a stylish feature that was appreciated on long uphill slogs. The collar and slightly long sleeves provide a little more protection from the sun than typical T shirt.

This was my first Ibex product, and I've been very satisfied. I wore it on a hike up Katahdin, and it was perfect. No stink! My only complaint is that my messenger bag has caused some pilling on the back from friction.

This was my first Ibex product, and my first wool shirt. I wore it on a hike up Katahdin, and it was great. The zipper really helps with regulating temperature. No stink!

I use this as a base layer most of the year. For cold weather aerobics and for most warmer activities as well I'm often down to this single layer. For less aerobic activities it's still the best layer to have next to my body.
I wear these all the time, and they last me about
3 yrs before wearing out.

Comments about Ibex Peak Sport Zip:
Great for summer morning bike ride or trip to the gym. Dries quickly and does not reek at the end of exercising. Zip is great when you want to cool down quickly and does not dig into my skin like other half zips I have. Semi-cut to athletic cut fit.

Comments about Ibex Peak Sport Zip:
Same weight as the Echo T that I also own, this is even more comfortable due to the raglan sleeves and the zip neck. I can wear this shirt for several days in a row and it still smells and feels clean. I own no other shirts that are more comfortable. I do wish that these items would come in more athletic fits. I wear size L to fit my chest/shoulders, and I end up with lots of extra material around my torso. Great for casual use, not so great for layering, or for outter layer while cycling.
But for what it is - I couldn't be happier. I just wish there were other fit options.

Comments about Ibex Peak Sport Zip:
I use this frequently for bike commuting and also for road biking. The zip neck and tucked in verses not tucked in gives it great temperature flexibility. Definitely cooler for riding in hot weather than any of the Ibex cycling specific tops. Zipper is easy to operate one handed while riding. Would be nice to see a cycling version of this with a form-fit cut.

I use this shirt as a bike jersey to ride to work and back everyday. I only have to wash it on the weekend and even then it doesn't stink. In the humid Minnesota summer my synthetic jerseys stink before I even get on my bike. If you want a bike jersey that doubles as a hiking/traveling/everything shirt, this is it.
